Gear that fits a sleeper

Measure the bunk, the fuse, and the floor before you buy.

Bunk Ledger compares published specs for US and Canadian drivers who live in the cab. Each buying guide names one pick for most trucks, a cheaper option, and one thing to skip.

Photos are real trucks, stops, and gear. We do not invent prices. The orange button opens an Amazon search for that model name. The US / Canada switch points that search at amazon.com or amazon.ca and sets the calculator units. With JavaScript off, the links stay on amazon.com.

Sleeper Cab Power Planner

Open the planner

Pick the loads for one night off the engine: fridge, CPAP, laptop, fan, lights, and a heater only if you mean to run one. The page adds the watt-hours and says whether the battery capacity you enter can cover the night. The single-purpose calculators are still on Free Tools.

Best truck inverters

Trucks that need real AC should look at a pure sine inverter hardwired with the cable the sheet calls for. The AIMS PWRI150012120S is 1,500 W continuous, surge 3,000 W for 40 ms, and it does not include a cigarette plug.
